The Baptistery of St. John sports three sets of bronze doors, two sets that took 15th century sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti 50 years to complete. Michelangelo described Ghiberti's east-facing doors as fit for the "Gates of Paradise," and the name has held since then. Address: Via della Canonica 1 Florence FI Italy 50122
