Opened in 1824 it was restructured in 1909 by P. E. André. Subsequently C. Coppedé painted the three lunettas located in the main hall inspired by the Decamerone by Boccaccio. The ceramics by Cantagalli and the bust of the American President Wilson, due to Rivolta, adorn the premises. The restaurant is characterised by the ancient traditions of Tuscan cuisine.

Visitors will find it by looking for a small door with a lamp above it. Ornamental plants along the road are another useful sign.
